RIDING RCT
FAQ

Using The RCT System
The RCT system route map will give you an idea of the many travel opportunities available to you. To understand and utilize the RCT the best way possible, please read the following:

          • Take a few minutes to look over the entire map.
          • Pay close attention to the color and style used for each route.
          • Find your current location and your desired destination.
          • Major streets are identified for your convenience.
          • Look for bus routes nearest your beginning and ending points.
          • Keep in mind that all RCT buses meet at the Stanton Transit Center, to ease transfer between routes

City bus schedules list every available route, their departure times from the transit center, and also time points during the route showing departure times from major intersections and landmarks throughout the city. All RCT buses try to adhere to the published schedules. However, RCT will not be responsible for damage or inconvenience from failure of buses to arrive or depart at the time shown or for failure to make connections with other bus lines. We are not responsible for schedule adherence due to traffic or weather conditions. Times listed are departure times from that point, unless otherwise noted.

Things to Remember
  • Transfers can only be used at the transit station.  You receive a transfer when you pay your fare on route and that bus cannot get you to your destination.  You would then use your transfer at the station to get on the appropriate bus that will get you to your destination.
  • You cannot use a transfer on the same bus that you received it from.
  • You should arrive at the transit center, no more then 1 hour before your bus is scheduled to depart.  Loitering at the transit center will not be tolerated.
